If you are a native speaker of a major non-Russian language (English, Chinese, Italian, French, Arabic, etc.), please send me your resume. I will submit it to be considered for opportunities with Moscow's best language consulting agency. Lessons are usually in the form of private 1-on-1 lessons, in your flat, a cafe, or at the student's flat. The students are usually 25 - 50 yr old Russian white-collar professionals. The are typically intermediate-to-advanced speakers of the language, and want to perfect or specialize their knowledge. They are always motivated to learn. Teaching experience and certifications are a plus, but absolutely not required. Any special degrees you have are a bonus. You can have the lessons be as structured or free-form as you and the client find mutually agreeable. You are free to schedule only meetings that are convenient to your schedule. You can always decline an offer if you don't want it, no questions asked. Work as much or as little as you like. If you want time off, simply arrange it between you and your students.
Compensation is based on your qualifications and the particular assignment offered. It is generally between 900 and 1500 rubles per academic hour (45 minutes), minimum 2 academic hours per session. If you are diligent and represent yourself well, earning up to 150,000 ru per month and meeting 30 hrs per week is not a stretch to achieve. *Please email me directly if you have any questions* and include your phone number if you like.
