Message: Looking for an orthodontist in Moscow

Doug, We and our friends and colleagues are very happy with Dr. Grossmann -
http://www.gdcare.ru/en/ for more than 6 years never feeling pain (neither
pain of dental procedure nor of the prices).

Just moved to Moscow, and my wife need a good orthodontist, she is halfway
through a 2-year treatment. Went to US dental care on Bolshaya Dmitrovka,
and they will take over her treatment - for ONLY a meagre 38,500 ruble
"transfer" fee!! What the #...@?? They want us to hand over this
non-refundable stash up front, and then begin paying monthly for the
regular visits. Does this sound right? Does anyone else have any
experience with transferring a family member's orthodontic treatment to
Moscow, and being hit up front for an exorbitant "transfer fee"? Can
someone please tell me if this is reasonable, if I should stop whining and
pay- or if I should start looking for another orthodontist in the city?
Can someone send me some referrals?Grateful in Advance....Doug
