If anyone is in need of an independent (self-employed) realtor's services (in
these times is that realistic?) but doesn't want to pay through the nose, read
on.
I can recommend my realtor who helped me with the purchase of my flat. He's
very experienced, also works as a property valuer, and an all round top bloke.
I did all the looking around and finding the flat, he just did/checked all the
documentation, helped interact with the seller's realtor (checking no wool
pulled over my eyes - saved me $2000), and accompanied me to the bank on
transaction day. He'd take 1-2% of the cost of the flat - after the purchase -
depending on whether he does the searching as well as documentation checking or
not. I found him "through a good friend" - always best in these matters - and
was totally satisfied as totally trusted him. Still do - he's helping me sort
some formalities with pereplanirovka/BTI.
