Come on be fair - I've had loads of advice off HR, esp. regarding visa issues. Lists always get like this though. The best plan in my experience is too meet up face-to-face and have a few drinks. It encourages understanding and you often end up finding the person you cross swords with is actually quite likable. So how about organising an event for the list? It would be great to put some faces to the names for me.
