Sarah If your friend was here on a business visa there is a possibility to get another business visa and have it done without leaving the country. If the original visa he/she was invited on also included the children/Wife as dependants on the original visa application this can be done -- it is only a possibility. Otherwise the strict definition applies -- they will all have to leave the country. There were runours about a common zone being created in Europe for visa purposes but,to my knowledge, this has not happened yet. I tried this recently but was told I had to return to my my native country, Good luck
