I stayed at the Golden Apple hotel. It's not far from the airport, actually I don't know the town well enough to tell you if it's close to the Consulate. It's a very small hotel, brand new with a very modern design. It's probably not the cheapest, but the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They don't have a proper restaurant but they have the menu of the restaurant which I think is downstairs: the food is very good and they have a good choice. My room was very spacious, they have satellite TV and I even had a Jacuzzi. By the way, I found the place extremely clean. This is their website: http://www.garden-apple. ru They provide free of charge transfer from the airport, so don't forget to ask it when you book. I hope this information will be helpful, let me know if you'll decide to stay there. Simona

We're a family of three (me, wife, five-year-old boy) that will be in town for a few days sometime in the latter half of May to sort out a 90-day German visa for my wife at the German consulate there. Accordingly, I'm interested in something that could be no-frills, but is still good value for money, if there is such a thing there. Obviously, options that are close to the consulate (the address is Krasny Prospekt, 28), would be very appreciated if you know the area at all. We'll consider any type of accommodation -- hotel, serviced apartments, even a hostel if the conditions are semi-O.K. Please reply directly to me and the list in the same reply message. Many thanks, Kirill. E-mail: kirill. To: <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="windows-1252" Hi my name is Louise, I'm 25, from Edinburgh (Scotland) and I currently live and work in Moscow. My current apartment is centrally located but lets be honest, it's not the most modern of apartments and so I have recently decided to move. With regards to location, I am open to suggestion but when it comes to places to live I have the following criteria: Considering I only spend 8hrs a day at home at the moment (and that's when I'm sleeping) I only really need a room (with a bed) to stay in. Since I've lived on my own for the past 12 months, I would very much like to either flat share with someone or rent someone's spare room. I'm clean living, I'm working for the majority of the day, friendly and outgoing.... oh and I'm a non smoker! If anyone would either like to flat share or has a spare room to rent (location is not a problem) then please get in contact. My mobile number is 8926 8380572 :-) Thanks in advance, Louise PS I need to find alternate accomodation within the next 7 - 10 days! _________________________________________________________________ Share your photos with Windows Live Photos Free. http://clk.atdmt. com/UKM/go/134665338/direct/01/ -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... A. As a practicing Teacher of English I am a little worried about your use of the term "*Interacting method*"and your reference to the "*Interacting Summer School for Teachers*" . Can you please enlighten me ?? I have never heard of such a school and have always thought ( and Taught) that teaching English is by its very nature *interactive*. Is there in actual fact such an organisation or school ? So why should anyone consider your offer unique? B. I would also like you to be a little clearer in your description of the geographical location of this summer school. Belfast is indeed a nice city in *Northern Ireland* and hence part of the *United Kingdom*. I do not want to have to explain this in any emotional fashion but as an Irishman I think the difference should be clarified in your advert. I accept that this school is now non denominational but in the still polarised atmosphere in Belfast I think that the parents of Russian children should be aware of its recent history I have replied to this advertisement on list simply because I would like to ensure that people do have a better understanding of what they are getting in to . I have seen your previous postings about teaching children and I applaud your business sense,so please, for all concerned, try to be a little clearer and more accurate in your terminology. -- Paul A.
