Dear Michele,

Actually you trouble has nothing to do with Windows Media Player. Number of
region changes is a hardware option of your drive, a stupid thing still used
by DVD-ROM manufacturers. Though there has always been a software solution -
applications like DVD Region Free and alike. You may even find a free one on
the net.

To be honest, this very problem with DVD format made me switch to torrents
and ripped already movies and shows.
