Thanks very much Sergey and Waldemar. It's all become a tad theoretical for me 
now. The company told me yesterday that their foreign worker quota was reduced, 
so no permit. I suppose to those of you out there who aren't MDs it might make 
sense to have a chat with HR rather than find out there is a huge problem just 
before your permit is up for renewal. I am thinking about staying on for a bit 
but then registration becomes a hassle, since you can get a visa for three 
months but no one will register it . Just wondering...any bits of registration 
wisdom in internetland?
