Hello Simone!

All my wishes came true last year when I went to Khalkidiki to the Eagles
Palace Hotel at Ouranopolis through mouzenidis. It was expensive but it was
worth every euro!
Greeks are great people, very friendly and very homely.
The climate is superb- not very hot not cold.
Lovely food and not expensive and fresh real fresh seafood!
The beaches were lovely, the olive trees, the holy icons etc etc etc all were
great
The Hotel was "A" class and I enjoyed the massage; the car rental was good too
and i travelled more than 700 km in 3 days to 3 different cities.
I may one day buy some property there and warm my bones when they get old he he
he !

I just wanted to see something else to compare  with this year.
In all perhaps Spain, Portugal, Turkey or Egypt is hovering in my mind.
Mayorca is possible but Im not sure being an indian how fast i can get the visa
doneas we are in august already .
That is why im also thinking of Turkey..

Gurminder.

Hola, yassas and ciao Gurminder!

Mediterranean area is crowed and very hot (32C minimum) in August. Best time is
September.

Nice place in Greece is ATHOS region, CHALKIDIKI – Hotel Eagles Palace – you
may find good offers here:
http://www.mzt.ru/ MOUZENIDIS is the biggest tour operator for this area.

Nevertheless you may find very good offers for Mallorca because Swinflu and
bomb terror of ETA + crisis …

The warm climate, as you like, may you find at the Baltic coastline (for
example: area of Klaipeda but without 5* hotel facilities, Sweden , Denmark ,
Germany might be full and very expensive for 5***
http://www.grandhotel-heiligendamm.de/online/page.php?P=965  ) or at one of the
beautiful lakes in the Alps ( AUSTRIA : Zell am See, Kaernten/ Switzerland :
Interlaken ).

Canaries and Madeira have a mild climate too but these destinations are far
away from Moscow (6+ hour’s flight).

Good offers:

http://avia.travel.ru/hot/

Sailing or a cruise might be a good alternative to match all your wishes.
Your wish list sounds perfect and it would be great to know if you have found a
place where you could get all!

Poka
Simone

Im thinking to go for a 2 week vacation abroad with my wife this month.
Anyone suggestions about a nice resort in Europe with the following:

1-a warm climate say +18 to +26
2-beach facilities.
3-not too much flight time (say maximum 4 hours)
4-good 5*hotel facilities
5-nice evening restaurants with fresh sea food
6-rent a car possibility
7-not inside a hubbing city but rather at a driving distance
8- preferably not too expensive

I'v been to Halkidi ( Greece ) last year and it was great!
Gurminder
