Hi everyone. My cat is still in Moscow as I am awaiting visa etc to come back. Anyone travelling to Copenhagen who can take a cat with them anytime soon?

Yours

Looking for a nursery school or toddlers' club in Moscow with English
speaking kids (aged from 2 upwards). Somewhere that offers full day classes and is reasonably priced. Relaxed as to whether it is a formal school or a group of parents who are looking for another child to join to share costs.

With permanent residency are you still required to get an exit visa each

No you are not.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a reliable, efficient taxi service? I frequently catch overnight flights back from London and the taxi service I
use have some drivers that refuse to pay for the airport car park and
instead hang around the airport periphery until they are rung to say that I am hanging around Arrivals. I want to find someone that will always be there
with a sign without any fuss or arguments.

Any suggestions?

Hello Nick,

Under effective laws permanent residency releases you from obligation to obtain work permit.

Dear List,

Sorry to go on about this, but I'd just like to check one last time: Neither temporary nor permanent Russian residency (of an expat in Russia) allows you to side-step the work permit requirement, right?

Thanks,
Nick

Gorodskoi Taxi has never failed me no matter what time I've arrived.
Reasonably priced as well and does also accepts creditcards./Marika
