Dear all, I've found this forum pretty helpful and wanted to send out a personal request.
I was born in Moscow and emigrated to the US at the age of four. Since than I haven't really been back to Moscow (last time I visited was 2001). I'm planning on visiting Moscow the second/third week of October and am looking to set up interviews with firms that will allow me to capitalize on my language skills, connection to and familiarity with Russian culture, and my experience in banking, sales, marketing and business development. Any advice regarding recruiters, current job availabilities and general advice would be great. A little bit of background on myself: (can send English and Russian versions of my resume on a one-off basis) - I am 26 years old and fluent in both English and conversational Russian - I graduated from NYU's Center for Global Affairs with a MS in International Business, Economics and Development - Post graduation I was with Wolfensohn & Company in New York as a junior private equity analyst - Currently I am working in Sales, Marketing and Business Development for a research and advisory firm in Washington, D.C I am essentially looking for positions within the private equity (analysis or fund-raising), banking or development sectors. I'm looking at Investment Banks, Private Equity Funds, Hedge Funds, and development org's such as the EBRD. I'm trying to keep my options as open as possible and would appreciate any advice or guidance you all may have. All the best, Danny -- Dan Feltsman New York - Washington DC (202) 375-8084 _______________________________________________ Expat mailing list [email protected] http://www.lists.ru/mailman/listinfo/expat http://www.expat.ru/forum/
