Edit texts translated from Russian for grammar, clarity and style. RIA Novosti translators are some of the best in the business, but they have non-native knowledge of German and occasionally make mistakes. Therefore, stylists must apply their strong German writing skills and knowledge of Russian to ensure that every text is grammatically correct, unambiguous in meaning, and reads like an article originally written in German. The writing style should be similar to that of well-known German-language news publications such as Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Spiegel, etc. Due to the nature of journalism, stylists must often work under pressure to edit texts in a timely manner.
