If you not gonna keep this in secret, could you tellme where u have
ordered the Kindle 2 at 259?

Check the books available in the Amazon Kindle store. Most new
bestsellers can't be downloaded in Russia (or elsewhere in Europe) for
copyright reasons. I ordered a Kindle 2 int'l recently (price dropped
to $259) and should be getting it in the mail on Monday. I've read
that you can get around the blockade by changing your kindle location
to the U.S. (the "manage your kindle" tab on amazon) and downloading
the books vis USB as opposed to GSM/Whispernet to avoid the overseas
download surcharge ($1.50 per download) for US-registered kindle
users. Sounds like a hassle, but worth it to get fresh reads a few
weeks before they'd arrive in the mail.
