I agree with Kimberly. It would be an expensive hassle to ship electronic items into Russia via DHL/FedEx/etc.due to customs duties, which became even worse this past year for some reason.
A few years back a friend of mine in the States sent me a keychain WiFi detector (a device about the size of a USB flash drive that sends out a signal and lights up a small LED light if there's a free wifi hotspot nearby). It was held up at Russian customs for a few weeks. They said if I wanted it I had to go way out to a distant part of Moscow to retrieve it as well as paying a customs duty of about $65 as I recall.... all for a keychain... Also had similar instances with a set of books that were stuck in customs forever and they demanded about $100 bucks to get them through. I told them that I already paid for the books and that they could return them back to the sender.
