Fellow listers,
I've just emailed the embassy, explained whats been going on this week on the
list and asked if it would be possible to put something on the embassy website,
so there is a place to confirm if anything like this exists. Hopefully, they
can and it will save us all a great deal of suspicious emails!
In the meantime i highly recommend all Brits register with the Foreign Office
LOCATE service (which can be accessed at
http://ukinrussia.fco.gov.uk/en/help-for-british-nationals/living-in-russia/registering-with-us/
) and is pretty quick and easy to do.
