Have been living here for 47 years and never heard of radioactivity and heavy metals. Some excessive iron may be found in old parts of the city but the worst is the high chlorine and chlorine-organics (typically in spring) which are easily filtered or boiled out. Beware that bottled water may be fake and even more harmful than the tap water, risk is high when you buy water from kiosks.
