All car inspections here are (by law) are made stricktly by presenting the valid driving license and medical 'spravka', valid for 3 years (2 years after 55). This may change next year after the Duma's approval of the 'garage' liability for the car' condition, may be effective next year.

Even if the car is yours, as long as it IS not registered in your name. You should not be required to provide a medical spravka to renew your inspection. If you're being required to provide a medical spravka for the power of attorney to drive this car, that's a different story. > > >Fri, 18 Jun 2010 10:46:00 +0400 письмо от "jriley" <[email protected]>: > >> >> >> >> >> Greetings, >> >> >> >> I was just informed that to renew thetechasmotr on my car (which is not registered in my name), I will need amedical spravka!! >> >> >> >> Can anyone confirm if this iscorrect, or if there is an alternative, & if not where might be a goodplace to get the spravka without spending several hours in line. >> >> >> >> Thanks in advance >> > > > [Message truncated.
