All car inspections here are (by law) are made stricktly by presenting the
valid driving license and medical 'spravka', valid for 3 years (2 years after
55). This may change next year after the Duma's approval of the 'garage'
liability for the car' condition, may be effective next year.

IS not registered in your name. You should not be required to provide a medical
spravka to renew your inspection. If you're being required to provide a medical
spravka for the power of attorney to drive this car, that's a different story.
