My client, a very well-known international company, is looking for a Russian
speaking expat Sales Director for their existing Moscow business.
They’re a very dynamic company and their business levels are increasing well
above plan so they have decided to look for someone to manage this side of the
business and to continue the growth that they expect in 2010 onwards.
Here’s the Job Description:
The Sales Director will be responsible for:
* Developing an overall New Business [sales] Plan and the
implementation
of the strategy for the on-going development of the International
Investment Department. This will include developing and expanding our
strategies to our various target audiences, and our regional expansion
programme. Regional expansion will require the Sales Director, in
conjunction with the Department Head to source appropriate Partners in our
targeted regions.
* The Sales Director will be responsible for annual sales
forecasts [which
will be measured on a monthly basis. And shall be an integral part of in
the overall departmental Budget planning.
* The Sales Director will be required to work closely with the
marketing
department to ensure our marketing strategy is effective and continually
improving. Given the complexity of our marketing efforts it is important
for the Sales Department to provide accurate feedback on the performance
of
the various marketing initiatives.
* Ensuring that all customer information is accurately recorded in
the
client data management system (CRM system). Being completely coherent
with
the efficient management of this data to maximize the inherent value of
on-going / “cross-marketing” opportunities.
* Selecting, directing and training the Department’s sales
consultants.
Consultants to be measured on a weekly basis covering various performance
indicators. Such indicators to be agreed with the Head Department.
* Advising the Head of Department on what type of investment
products our
target market are interested in, and working closely with our Investment
Sourcing Consultant ensure that we are continually offering our investors
the best and most attractive investments in the market.
SPECIFIC SALES ACTIVITIES
The total focus of this position is the development of International Investment
Department. This will be achieved through the management and implementation of
a
mix of sales procedures including, but not limited to:
* Direct one to one sales presentations
* Targeted Telesales activities
* Investment seminars.
* Exhibitions
* Indirect presentations and attendance at /and association with
Key
target client organizations – such as corporate presentations, industry
event
* Key account management / contact networking, client referral
program
partnership programmes – i.e Investment Banks, financial advisors,
accountants etc
REQUIREMETNT OF THE POSITION
The New business Director should: -
* Be proactive in the search to increase business, taking an
active
involvement in self- education of the commercial issues that may effect
investing in international residential property markets
* Be goal and target driven
* Be able to manage and motivate people
* Continually evaluate customer information, debriefing
consultants and
associated key contacts
* Be fully capable of communicating on a senior management level
with both
Russian and foreign executive demonstrating credibility and instilling
respect - at all times.
* Evaluate the level of customer satisfaction [with the company’s
service
provision] and included this in the report to The Board. This report must
consider the relevant improvements to the business as necessary.
Above all the new business director must demonstrate an exemplary level of DEAL
CLOSURE
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* The strategic development and briefing of specific marketing
materials -
as required to sell to specific target customer groups
* Analyze the overall efficiency, and business development
effectiveness
of all marketing investments. Provides ideas to the Marketing Department
to
develop new information products into the distribution network i.e.
responding to seasonal changes.
* The Sales Director will be responsible for the training,
development and
motivation of all sales representatives. This will also involve the
detailed evaluation of staff performance.
* Ensuring harmonious and effective relations with between the
International Investment Department and the company’s other internal
departments.
* Personally creating a positive image of the company and its
services
projecting professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication to the task at all
times.
* As part of the Senior Management Team, the Sales Director will
be
involved in conducting “effectiveness assessment” - both internally and
externally - on an on-going basis; measured against not only the degree of
customer satisfaction with our services but also the new business
performance of competitors, and determine the company’s strength /
weakness
in terms of new business closure and recommend improvements and
alterations
as necessary
