right now very difficult to make such an import casually. will need GOST R certificate if legally imported.. cost of shipment outrageously now. Buy locally, the cost will probably be the same.. (Model from the USA will be 110V - 220 V needed here too)
I have a Russian friend who is interested in buying a pneumatic tennis ball auncher from a US-based Internet sports store, but is having a heck of a ime finding a company that will ship it into Russia. As you can imagine, his is a decent sized piece of equipment. FedEx has refused to take the rder. He's a tennis coach and convinced that he can get it much cheaper in the S... I've told him that it may not be cheaper in the long run considering ustoms and shipping fees. Any advice on the best way to get something like that into Russia? Any imilar experience? Thomas
