Dear Shana,

Did you find anyone that could help with this?

If not let me know. I am flying to the US later this year but unsure which
date.

The dog must be very small if he/she is not going to be travelling by cargo.
Is this correct?

Yours sincerely,

Jeffrey Forbes

Subject: Expat List Dog Escort Needed Moscow-DC

Looking for someone traveling from Moscow to DC between now and December who
would allow a rescue dog to go along. This poor dog has been with a Moscow
rescue group for 4 years and now can find a home in the US through a DC
based rescue. I am a volunteer with both and am setting this up. We will
cover all dog-related expenses, bring her to the Moscow airport and help
with the vet clearance, and then pick her up from the airport in DC. We
just need someone to check her in, make sure she gets on the plane and then
clears customs. It's simply too expensive for our rescue to send her as
cargo. For very little effort, you can make a huge difference in the life
of this dog who has almost zero chance of being adopted in Moscow. Please
let me know if you or someone you know can help. Happy to answer all
questions.

Thanks,

Shana
