I wasn't going to get sucked into this. Howver, without our help - the "Allies" that is and our opening of a second and Western Front - there wouldn't be, in all probability, a Russia; not as we know it today, that is.
As well as the fact that a great many Russian's tragically died fighting on the front; a great many British seaen died supplying the Soviet fighting machine, with food and spare parts and equipment on those awful and cold Murmansk Convoys. Therefore, dude, like it or not - without us Brits and Americans...eventually your county would probably have been toast. Read yer history books a little more thoroughly. The Soviet Union certainly lost more dead in WWII, but that was due in good part to Stalin's execution of most of his top brass before the CCCP entered the war. And don't forget that Soviet troops fought almost exclusively on a single front, namely the Soviet border with European states. The Allies fought in Europe, North Africa, and the Far East.
