Our American Firm, selling packaging machinery in the CIS since 1995 has current opening for: Logistics Manager: -- Min 4 yrs experience in Logistics personally arranging inbound CIP, FCA, EXW shipments from Europe America and far east. -- Min 2 yrs experience with customs clearing operations (directly or via brokers), for Russian OOO. -- Intimate knowledge of document procedures, LC's,, Certifications, Incoterms. -- Native Russian, Fluent English, written and spoken, higher education. Job Duties: -- Communications with vendors (makers of packaging machinery), about shipments to Russian Co's under CIP, DDU, EXW, and DDP terms. -- Issuance of shipping instructions in compliance with contractual, legal, and client needs -- Working with forwarding companies to book trucks, vessels etc., controlling costs of shipments -- Controlling and monitoring of all customer communications regarding incoming payments due, and shipping schedules. -- Reviewing of sales contracts with salespeople regarding to Logistics questions, working with customers logistics staff to agree on terms of the contract with regard to logistics questions. -- Obtaining certifications of machinery using certification agencies as needed -- Translating of docs as needed regarding shipments -- Monitoring progress of each shipment to the end -- 90,00h-18,00h working day, near Baumanskaya Metro. Could be flexible in terms of starting and finishing time of work day for right canidate. -- Logistics Manager has full time assistant dedicated to the department -- 4-6 shipments/month, high value goods. -- Salary - competitive (depending on experience and salary history), private health insurance also included after 30 day probation period.
