The government seems to be ok with any of Alfa's nastiest methods.

Alfa is very pro-business, doesn't look like them.
Must be more to the story...

Dear fellow Expats,
Let me update you on the situation at Russia’s only Low Cost
Airline, Avianova and consider it for your own situation.
On Friday last, all the expats were kicked out of the office of
Avianova. The expats include the CEO, Andrew Pyne, CCO (myself)
Michael Hayden & Director of Safety, Guy Maclean. Subsequently some
of the Russian directors were also removed, IT, Admin, Legal and a
new management team was introduced (ex failing Russian airline, Red
Wings).
All of these changes are completely illegal and without joint
shareholder approval but as you know the law does not seem to apply
to business here.
The Airline is jointly owned, 49% by Indigo (they also have holdings/
control of Wizz, Spirit, Tiger & Volaris) and 51% Alfa Bank (you may
recall Alfa running a similar racketeering at Tanker-BP)
So, it’s that simple. Kick out the expats, ignore the foreign
investors and steal the company. Be warned!
Best regards,
Mike
