Dear all, help or advice needed: we do happen to have a 933 - number since 2001, as then it was then really nice to have a Combellga phone line, so one would not have to yell over the phone. Needless to say that these lines are not the cheapest - regardless that they have changed owners from Combellga to Beeline to Vimpelcom to Sovintel but what really itches me is the fact that still after after more than 10 years their approach is as if we were in 2001 ... They are all some kind of a COLLECT number on the display which are NOT OURS and whenever we call someone (be it in Russia or abroad) this system shows this wrong number. It does really appear a bit funny to business partners and to clients alike. I understand if I pay around 1 cent for a cheap line, that´s ok but this is to me something different. After endless oral requests we sent them a letter asking to have our OWN numbers on the display for which we pay for quite a long time. We got a "nice" letter from their "technical" department saying that this is technically not possible with some kind of semi-scientific explanations which don´t make any reasonable sense to me. Even if there is a technical problem, it is theirs, not ours and they should solve it or offer any other acceptable solution to that problem. Of course best thing is to change numbers, but to change everything starting from website, business cards, phone directories etc. may after all be not such a good idea ... Is there any other legal entity that has similar or same problems?! Any help is highly appreciated as I would like to have this "problem" solved in a constructive manner. Thanks a lot in advance!!!
