I advertised my Russian teacher's services last year, but as Moscow expats
seem to depart with reasonable regularity, I've offered to do the same
again for her in 2012.

If anyone is looking to improve their Russian skills with a strong emphasis
on getting past the speaking barrier and feeling more confident, I can
definitely recommend my teacher.

I've studied with her for about 3 years and I'd say I'm getting towards
being fluent, with the only thing standing in my way being that fact that I
have to work using English!

Part of the reason I've persisted is that my teacher is just good fun to
study with. No Soviet-style sternness or rigidity. She's creative and can
tailor lessons to suit the student, whether it's beginner's survival
Russian, business Russian or something more intensive. She actually teaches
Russian literature and history to foreigners too, so she's great for high
level students who want to study texts in detail but this is on request!

She speaks enough English to get by, and can easily organise lessons etc,
plus explain most things.

Any enquiries directly to her at the following email address (her first
name is Aislu): [email protected]
