Hello David, I am a United States citizen with a wife who is a Russia citizen. We have been to Russia twice and I am looking to move my family and myself to Moscow, working as an English teacher. I possess a B. A. Degree in Communications and plenty of professional background in sales, writing and interacting with people. The only thing I don't yet have in my hands at this time is a Teaching English as a foreign language certification. Can you provide any advice about breaking into this field? More specifically, is it necessary to have a certification before you begin a teaching position in Moscow? If it is not, can you recommend a school that accepts people and will help them gain certification in Moscow? Also, I understand I should not take an online English certification course, that it is not held in very high regard. But that I should take an in-class training. Is this correct? Can you provide any other details I should think about?
