I THINK the free deal on the RedHat 6.0 CD is sort of a limited time special
offer... why they chose to do that with the RH CD and not Mandrake, I
don't know.
And I think i386 is just the standard way of showing that it's compiled for
Intel-compatible CPU's and not one of the other platforms; it IS
specifically optimized for Pentium-class chips though.
