[expert] Problem with glibc binaries?

I just recently switched from Slackare 3.6 to Mandrake 6 (clean format and
install), and I'm very impressed.  Everything's going smoothly, but I've got
one major problem:  some glibc-based programs refuse to run (e.g. freeamp,
oss, q3test), and I get a "command not found error".  It's as if I'm trying
to run glibc-dependent programs on a libc system.  I can't figure this one
out at all.  Suggestions anyone?
