I'm still having problems, even after compiling my own
kernel from the 2.2.12 sources. A couple people have
mentioned to me that EGCS is "known" to have problems
compiling kernels. Have you folks experienced this? Should
I edit my makefile and recompile with GCC? Do I even HAVE
GCC on my Mandrake 6.0 system?
I feel I am past the "newbie" stage, but not quite up to
the "expert" stage... Maybe we need to start another list
for those of us at the "Journeyman" stage? (only
half-serious here...) :-)
