Here is what I know. The cdrecord program that comes with the XCDRoast cannot record 80min CD's. Due to it's out of it's capacity. Just like it cannot do multi session cd's on some sony drives. And in order to record cd's in linux you need the cdrecord program (it run's on the console). All xterm cd writer's use it. GCD, XCDRoast and such. Drake Jackson
