Hi,

I did something stupid in a moment of stress and lack of time...
(now I have more stress and less time -left- ;-) )

Trying to deal with netscap's dying at irregular intervals, I wanted to
install the rpm from rpmfind.net (version 7).
I had some failing dependencies - one was rpm version 3.03.

And then in that insane moment i typed rpm -e rpm - which removes the
old version and left nothing to rpm the new rpm....
(one moment of silent for such a stupid move ;-) )

I downloaded source and recompiled rpm -working fine BUT off course the
database is gone.
Can I recreate the database? Or do I have to reinstall every rpm to get
the database up to date?

Thanks
Herman
