Hi,
to install Linux Mandrake 6.1 on my machine I downloaded the iso-image
from a mirror on my Windows-partition. I do not have a CD-R however,
so I'd like to be able to mount this image using -o loop (in expert mode, if
necessary) and proceed with the installation from here. Is this
possible somehow? I don't get a prompt until after I've select the
instalation medium, even in expert mode. Also, when I try to mount
anything at the prompt my environment gets corrupted (no more ls,
mount, unmount, whatever...).
Can anybody help?
