[expert] WebMaker

In trying to install KWebMaker v0.8. I got the rpm from the author's site but
it refuses to install. The error i get is:

error: failed dependencies:
        libjpeg.so.6 is needed by WebMaker-0.8.5-4
****
But the thing is that i have that lib installed on my system.
I've also tried to compile the tar.gz but i get an error at the make stage.
Any ideas?
BTW I have MD7 .
