I'd do this, but 1) I will patch the source for the passwd exploit in MySQL
(which I guess I can do anyhow, but...) and 2) I need to compile the
apache/mod_ssl/php source by hand and would like to know how to optimize it for
an i686 too ;) and 3) I'm just getting use to using RPM's and don't want to have
my sources lying around in different spots. /usr/local/src is fine for me ;)
