[expert] Different kernels

I am presently running kernel 2.2.14-1mdklinus, how do I install 2.2.14-15mdk?  And what is the difference?  It looks like almost everyone is using the 2.2.14-15mdk by the headers in the emails. Thanks in advance! Vern
