Well, you could go to the kde control center, look under the sound tab
and then the bell page and turn off the bell sounds. However, you would
not have a warning that lets you know when you do something wrong or at
least something the system does not understand. Better to get proficient
at using your fingers and paying attention to where the cursor is
located, than to turn off the bell. You could turn down the volume on
the bell page, which would decrease the irritation, but ultimately you
need to pay attention to what you're doing.
