A friend told me to enable my IDE CD-writer by putting append="hdc=ide-scsi" in lilo.conf (lilo was run afterward) and insmod ide-scsi in rc.local. That allowed xcdroaster to have access to my CD-writer as scd0, but now I can't read from my IDE Zip drive or scan with my SCSI scanner. I presume their devices have changed, but I can't figure out to what. Suggestions? -- Lane ____ Lane Lester / Madison County, Georgia USA Using Linux to get where I want to go...
