Alien will convert .deb's to .rpm's, have a look in the
Mandrake-devel/contrib directory of your favorite mirror, or  @
freshmeat.net, if nobody's done it for MDK (I'm sure I saw it for MDK on a
personal ftp site somewhere...) IIRC there are some dependancies, you might
want to do a google linux search on it...
I'll have a look in my history next time I boot MDK & see if I can find a
URL....
BTW, if you are trying to do Word Perfect I hear it breaks - YMMV...
