That's great for us developer types -- but for the end user who
just is interested in an 'off-the-shelf' distro ready to go for them,
optimizing for the 'pentium' (at the expense of 3/4/6/7)86 seems
sub-optimal. At least with 686 optimization, you would have 786 (PII)
and 886 (PIII) compatible optimization as well.
