Thank's a lot to Charles and Lars. Well, finally I could read from the tape. Charles, it was the rewind question. I can access file by file doing a simple cat /dev/nst0 > file.tar and after work with it. The problem is that the information is stored in a lot of files with index etc and .... well it's my problem and thank's a lot for all. Leo
