Question: Can rpmlint be used on distros other than Mandrake? If so, are
there any changes that need to be made for it? Reason I'm asking is I'm
writing an article on making RPMs and although everything I'm writing is
based on making Mandrake RPMs, I'd like to make it as generic as
possible. Since rpmlint is such an awesome tool, I was wondering how
easy/hard it would be to use it on another distro (since I know it relies
on groups for checking and other things).

Can anyone provide me with this info? Thanks in advance.
