[expert] Matrox G400 and XFree86 4.0

Hello all,
  I have a Matrox G400 dual-head card that I would
like to get the dual-head working with XFree86.  I can
get the single monitor working with the greatest of
ease, but I cannot find anywhere documentation on how
to make the 2nd monitor come up.  Will this require
Framebuffer support?  Any help would be appreciated.
