(Smacking myself on the head) This was a renewal certificate. I installed the origional last year and this one was an update. So while I was running in circles attempting to generate a new private key, it wanted the same private key we used last year for this year's certificate. Sighhhh I've installed 20-30 certs in my day and I feel like a retard for missing this. Solved my own problem. -David Talbot
