hallo Expert!
suddenly xdm behaves strange.
i try to login from another pc with x-win32.
i start xdm at the console of the linuxbox. after that ps -x brings:

[root@orbit /home/ftp/pub]# ps -x |grep x
25679 ? S 0:00 xdm
25690 ? S 0:00 xdm
25712 ? S 0:00 /etc/X11/X -auth /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/authdir/authf
25713 ? S 0:00 xdm
25715 pts/3 R 0:00 ps -x
25716 pts/3 S 0:00 grep x
=-- cut ---
but i can't log into the linuxbox.
some seconds after that ps -x brings:

25734 pts/3 S 0:00 grep x

see the changed PIDs and three times xdm?!
xdm-error.log brings as the last lines:
=-- cut ---
_FontTransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111
failed to set default font path 'unix/:-1'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
When reporting a problem related to a server crash, please send
the full server output, not just the last messages

what can i do with this?!
