I use both VNC and X-Win32.  Both work well and each has positives and
negatives.  I think X-Win32 is faster and will allow the remote user to
pick which desktop he wants to use (if you have more than one installed).
VNC is nice as you can start a desktop at one site and go somewhere else
and pick-up where you left off.  You have to preset VNC for the desktop
you want to be using.  Also as stated VNC is free.
