I have Postfix running fairly well on my Mandrake 7.1 system. However, I notice that when I check my mail with a locally-connected computer, it connects to the server, waits a second, gets the mail, waits another second, then disconnects. What causes the wait? I've got entries in HOSTS and/or DNS tables for both computers, so it shouldn't be waiting for a reverse name lookup. Bob
