Eric, Thanks for the reply. If indeed restarting the network is the answer, then this is a better approach: if-down eth0 if-up eth0 I haven't tried it though. I have tried the two commands above, and they execute perfectly - everytime. Thanks. P.S. I'm getting closer to my VPN Masquerade problem, I may even post it here, rather than in the News Groups. It's to a Windoze Not There machine. Sigh, can't have everything, all at once anyway.
