Hi Benjamin, I'm still hanging around trying to learn. Sigh.. it's a never ending battle. >From what I understand the 7.2 kernel is different from earlier versions, and not backward compatible. My guru said people get into all kinds of trouble when trying to install older versions of software that don't use the same libraries as the new kernel. It has something to do with dependencies I think. I don't pretend to understand it; I'm still in diapers. I hope you get help soon. Pj
