Does anyone in the list make use of 3d apps (povray, ac3d, etc)? If so, has anyone tried 3dom? I have Mandrake 7.1, kde-1.1.2, and qt-2.0 installed on my laptop. I downloaded the source to 3dom and it built without problem on my laptop (takes forever). Trying to build the same src on my desktop system with Mandrake 7.2 with qt-2.2.2 (both use gcc-2.95 and glibc2.1) fails quickly, apparently due to some issue with qt2. Downloading the precompiled 3dom binary to my desktop and trying to run it leads to a segfault almost right away. Anyone? 3dom can be acquired here: http://threedom.sourceforge.net praedor
