IPv6 can be compiled into any 2.2.x kernel I believe, but it most definitely exists in LM 7.2. It will require a recompile, finding Alexy Kuznetsov's packages for iputils, the new net-tools from Phil Blundell, and so on. Try checking out www.bieringer.de/linux/IPv6/index.html or www.bieringer.de/linux/IPv6/status/IPv6+Linux-status-conf.html . Peter Bieringer's site has how-tos as well as the status of various ports and projects dealing with bringin IPv6 to LInux.
